Transport for London
Transport for London proudly hosts the sixth walking and cycling conference for professionals in the Capital.
The Integrated Programme Delivery Directorate (IPD) works closely with other departments within TfL to help deliver the Mayor's strategy for cycling, walking and on street accessibility. We work in partnership with the London Boroughs and other groups to deliver for example:
- Cycle training for adults and children
- Infrastructure improvements such as cycle lanes, pedestrian crossings and traffic calming
- Cycle parking at stations, schools and on street
- Promotion of walking and cycling
- Greenways for pedestrians and cyclists
- 2012 Games cycling and walking route improvements
In 2010, TfL will also deliver the landmark Cycle Hire and Cycle Superhighway schemes.
